So about this time last year, the City of Copenhagen shared an image from Bispebjerg Kirkegaard on Instagram. It was a picture of a boulevard decorated with Japanese cherry trees, which only blossom a couple of weeks a year.
I though to my self that it would make an amazing scene for a photoshoot. A couple of weeks ago I scouted the location, to see how far the flowers were – only a couple of days to go.
Some days passed and all of a sudden every single Instagram user in Copenhagen took selfies there. The crowd was overwhelming and completely destroyed the possibility of getting a authentic photo. I got a tip about this, so I wasn’t expecting much, but saw it as an opportunity to shoot some street-style photos.
I think I hung around for 30-40 minutes and shot some photos. Wasn’t the best shoot in the world – however one image turned out alright. After a quick edit in Lightroom this was the result!
